Feeding: 2 Months

At 2 months, infants are following their in-utero programming for weight gain and usually gaining weight well. This is a rapid time of growth where infants often double their birth weight by 4 months of age. Babies are often more efficient with their feeding and able to take in slightly more volume per feeding resulting in shorter feeding times and slightly longer intervals between feedings, (on average 2-3 oz per feeding 8-12x/day). This can worry some parents and lead to pressured feeding styles.
