AUGUST 2, 2022

10:00am – 12:00pm Pacific Daylight Time on Zoom

Join us for a free 2-hour session with Dr. Oxford, the Executive Director of the Barnard Center for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. The title of her talk is Strategies to Stay Safe: How Attachment Informs our World View of Safety and Danger.

During this session, Dr. Oxford will share with PFR and PCI providers how the development of attachment in infancy relates to relational strategies we all use in adolescence and adulthood to manage distress. Linking early experiences with later outcomes and orientations, and having a deeper understanding of Attachment from the perspective of safety and danger will enhance participants’ clinical work with trauma-impacted families.
